Location

In the tail of the antihelix (the lower part of the antihelix), on the ridge. (AH1)

  • The vertebrae are represented from bottom to top: the groove between the antitragus and the antihelix would correspond to the first cervical or atlas. C7 would be higher up on the antihelix, below the ridge of the concha (AH2).
  • In the posterior auricle, the cervicals can be located in the upper part of the back (CP3)

Action

  • Cervical pain, tension in the neck muscles, torticollis.
  • Tension headache.
  • Tension in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).
