Symptoms

• Irritability
• Blurred vision or night blindness
• Muscular-tendinous contractures

• Hair loss and tooth loss (when there is a tooth problem, check if it is a Yang Ming problem or Kidney problem)
• Emaciation
• Dry mouth and throat
• Five-palm heat
• Night sweating
• Insomnia
• Nocturnal emissions
• Scanty menstruation or amenorrhoea
• Infertility
• Sensation of heat at dusk
• Red cheekbones and hot flushes
