The Pericardium divergent channel separates from the main channel at point PC-1 and goes to GB-22 where it penetrates the pericardium and then goes to the heart.

• One branch connects with the three burners.
• Another branch goes up to CV-23, emerges and goes to TE-16 where it joins the main channel and the Pericardium Divergent Channel.

The pathway of the divergent helps us understand the relationship between Yin Wei Mai and Pericardium. The points CV-22, CV-23 that belong to Yin Wei Mai and the point PC-6 is the opening point of Yin Wei Mai.
