Location

The lower third of the scaphoid fossa corresponds to the shoulder region. There are several shoulder points:

• Shoulder point: in the scaphoid fossa at the level of the Zero point. (FE 2)
• Shoulder joint: also in the scaphoid fossa but below the shoulder point, at the level of point 5 of the anatomical points of the auricle, (FE 1).

Action

• They treat the shoulder girdle, deltoid, scapula, trapezius and shoulder.
• Shoulder pain, sprain, arthritis, painful tenderness.
