Location

There are four tonsil points on the helix:

• 1: Next to the apex of the ear toward Darwin's tubercle. (HX9)
• 2: In the middle of the helix tail, at the height of the crest of the concha. ((HX14)
• 3: At the junction of the helix tail with the lobe. (HX15)
• 4: At the base of the lobe.(LO3)

Tonsillitis, sore throat, difficulty swallowing, acute inflammation.
