Functions
- Pain along the channel pathway
- Acute lower back pain
- Calf pain, intense muscle cramp, inability to extend the foot
- Epilepsy-type rigidity: stiff back (in children, moxibustion). Falls stiffly "like a dead body". Syncope.
- Tremors, neck rigidity extending backward (tetanus, meningitis, spinal cord disorder), convulsions
Treatment
- Needling 0.5 CUN at right angle.
- Moxibustion.
