- Connecting (Luo) Point (communicates with the Bladder Channel)
- Connects with Conception Vessel (Ren Mai)

- Connects with Gall Bladder channel. Proceeds then to GB-30
Actions
- Releases the Governing Vessel: important point for spine problems: rigidity, pain, lower back, sacrum, cervical, herniated disc, protrusions, cervical pain and trapezius
- Local point: all anus problems: haemorrhoids, fistula, fissure, prolapse, constipation, diarrhea (in children can moxa 2'), blood in stools, chronic diarrhea
- Urinary and genitourinary problems: dark, painful urination, sexual impotence
- Infantile convulsions
- Shen problems: epilepsy, agitation, manic-depression

- Connecting channel of Governing Vessel: ascends through all paravertebral musculature to the occipital region where it branches and connects with the Bladder channel. If GV becomes blocked, the qi does not ascend and spills into BL or GB
Treatment
- Needling: parallel to coccyx following the internal surface of the coccyx. Do not needle perpendicular through the rectum. 1-2 CUN, normally 0.5 CUN. Needle with guided needle. Disinfect well before.
