Symptoms
- Intense retrosternal pain radiating to the inner surface of the left arm or shoulder
- Stabbing pain
- Palpitations
- Shortness of breath
- Feeling of oppression or thoracic constriction (pain in the pathway of the PC and SI channels)
- Abundant and fluid phlegm
- Cyanotic lips and nails
- Cold hands, aversion to cold, cold limbs
- Profuse sweating
- Cyanotic tongue or with cyanotic patches (more on the anterior part)
- Irregular, tight or knotted pulse
Causes
- Yang Deficiency
- Qi stagnation (due to emotional problem)
- Xue Deficiency
- Phlegm
Treatment
- Biao (the branch, the manifestation): circulate Xue.
- PC-4: Xi-Cleft Point + PC-6: activates Qi mechanisms, Connecting Channel: precordial pain
