Symptoms
- Palpitations and tachycardia
- Shortness of breath and fatigue on exertion
- Chest oppression
- Physical and mental exhaustion
- Mild depression
- Sensation of discomfort in the heart area (precordial)
- Spontaneous sweating
- Accumulation of fluid, edema
- Aversion to cold, sensation of cold and sweating
- Cold hands and sometimes also sweaty
- Pale face with blackish tinge
- Lips slightly dark, cyanotic in severe cases
- Pale tongue with white coating or swollen tongue from fluid accumulation
- Deep and weak pulse, knotted in severe cases (irregular, extrasystoles)
