It is not a 100% Full pattern, it is Liver Fullness combined with Kidney and Liver Yin deficiency. Yin deficiency does not root Yang, and this rises without control. Below is weak emptiness. If water does not irrigate wood, wood burns.

Symptoms

  • Headache (temporal, lateral eye side)
  • Vertigo
  • Irritability, fits of anger
  • Sensation of oppression, impatience
  • Hot and red face
  • Red eyes, congested
  • Photophobia, blurred vision
  • Tinnitus, deafness
  • Dry mouth and throat
  • Insomnia
  • Loss of memory
  • Pain and weakness of the lumbar region and knees
  • Red tongue,
  • Wiry pulse (rapid, or wiry fine rapid)

Causes

  1. Injury of seven passions
  2. Liver-Qi stagnation that in the long term consumes the Yin of Kidney and/or Liver: Yang rises
  3. Yin deficiency of K or L
