The Stomach Divergent Channel separates from the Main Channel around ST-31, then passes to ST-30 and goes internally. It passes through Stomach and Spleen, traverses the Heart and reaches the supraclavicular fossa. It exits at ST-9, point where it joins the Main Channel and the Spleen Divergent. From there it reaches the inner part of the eye and makes a complete turn around the eye until reaching ST-1.
Although Divergent Channels have no symptomatology, its pathway explains periocular pain related to Stomach. Certain sinusities have the problem of inflammation related to Dampness and may be resolved by treating the Stomach Channel (Yang Ming).
