Comments
- The Po represents the Yin aspect of vitality and the Hun the Yang aspect of the mental spirit. Both reunite after birth and "noble clarity" may be related to this Yin aspect initiated at its previous point, P 3.
- The interaction between the Hun and the Po, (Wood and Metal) refers, perhaps, to the act of expanding and contracting of breathing. This association may be implicit in the "noble clarity" that provides full breathing without blockages by the Wood. From an energetic point of view, if the lung can compress and descend the respiratory capacity, it activates the flow of Qi in the channels involved in breathing.
