As a seed expands and grows upward, downward, to the sides, and densifies inward until developing into a whole tree, the movement of wood is related to expansion, the free movement of energy.

  • Wood is the General: commands troops to conquer new lands. Adapts orders to battle. Has the vision of what needs to be done.

  1. Metal insufficient does not control Wood. Containment fails.
  2. Wood in excess tends to invade Earth and stir up Fire.
