This point corresponds to LU-10

Names

  • Fish Border
  • Fish Corner

Comments

  • Anatomically the fish border can be seen as an evolution of Tai Yuan or perhaps the site that the fish must not pass to remain in the abyss (within the Water).
  • In the Nan Jing a pathological condition of pulse overflow is described when it goes beyond the Cun position and invades the palm of the hand through the fish border. This would be equivalent to leaving the abyss and becoming "fire".
  • Therefore this point describes the balance between water and body fire and between the exterior and the interior through the lung.
