Clinical Case: Female 25 Years Old, Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Female, 25 years old.

Reason for consultation

Morning diarrhea. Yellow and foul-smelling stools, sometimes with undigested food pieces.

Bowel movements: if she is very nervous up to 5 times a day. If not, once (always loose). Eats in the morning and runs to the bathroom.

Symptoms began last January, following a separation. In the first month and a half she lost a lot of weight. In the last month it has worsened (may be due to emotional issues).

Feels (and is) bloated. Deep palpation hurts a lot.

Short and dark menstruation. Sleeps well. Eats a lot and with anxiety.

Emotions: insecurity, fear and rage (until it explodes).

Tongue: swollen, thick white coating, teeth marks

Diagnosis

There is Damp-Heat. (eating a lot = Stomach-Heat)

The Spleen is deficient.

Seven emotions block the Liver, Liver overacts on Spleen worsening the condition. Liver-Qi stagnation overacts on Spleen.
