Causes
- Liver-Qi stagnation: emotions, stress.
- Interior Heat, due to improper diet: accumulation of food, excess pungent, proteins, fats, many calories.
- Exterior Heat penetrates the interior.
Symptoms
- Accelerates the circulation of the blood
- Feeling of heat, fever
- Nervousness, anxiety, early-morning insomnia
- Profuse nosebleed
- Bleeding gums
- Dry mouth, bitter mouth
- Constipation
- Manifestations on the skin: dermatitis, acne, eruptions, psoriasis
- Abundant and/or early menstruation
- Red tongue, speckled
- Rapid pulse
