Location

2 CUN above the superior medial border of the patella with the knee flexed.

It can be located by placing the palm of the hand on the bent knee (with the thumb toward the medial side of the leg) and the point is usually below the tip of the index finger.

• Regulates Blood and releases stagnation
• Where there is much blood, it carries it where there is little.
• Releases blood blockage, especially in women with menstrual disorders (dysmenorrhea, fibroids): moxibustion
• Cools the blood in case of Heat in Blood
• Absorbs blood: hemorrhages, menorrhagia
