- Strengthens the Spleen: poor appetite, swelling, borborigmus, diarrhea, abdominal problems, heaviness of the legs, does not absorb food, fluid retention

Comments
- Radha Thambirajah in "Cosmetic Acupuncture" describes a needling technique for this point that descends Yang and Heat from the Upper Burner. This descending technique is indicated for itching, allergic manifestations and dermatitis that manifest in the upper part of the body.
