Symptoms

  • Cough with clear, fluid phlegm
  • Shortness of breath, difficulty breathing after exertion (Zong Qi deficient)
  • Weak voice
  • Spontaneous sweating
  • Aversion to wind
  • Catches colds easily
  • Tiredness
  • Pale face
  • Pale tongue with thin whitish coating
  • Empty and weak pulse

Causes

  1. The seven emotions, emotions.
  2. Weak constitution
  3. Exhaustion from overwork and insufficient rest
  4. Chronic illness
  5. Invasion of external pathogenic energy

Treatment

Tonify Lung Qi

Consequences

  • Weakens Zong Qi.
  • Weakens Wei Qi (the Lung function of diffusion, distributes to the exterior).
  • Can affect the descending and purifying function: fluids accumulate, cough, reflux.
  • Poor circulation (especially in the hands).
