Lung Sinew Channel

Lung Sinew Channel

TendinoP

Pathway

It begins at the radial nail angle of the thumb LU-11, continues along the thenar eminence and narrows at the wrist groove LU-9. It ascends along the anterointernal (radial) border of the forearm.

It inserts in the elbow near LU-5 (a little more external than LU-5). It ascends along the arm along the long portion of the biceps. And then it inserts in the area of Jian Qian (curious point near the lesser tubercle, the biceps insertion, near LI-15). It crosses the clavicle, the area of the coracoid process, and goes to ST-12 in the supraclavicular fossa. From there it makes a circle that passes through LI-15 and returns to ST-12. It goes toward the axilla to join at GB-22 with the Yin muscle channels of the hand. It penetrates between the pectoral muscles, and covers the entire rib cage, diaphragm and hypochondrium.

Symptoms

Contractures, twitches, pain along the pathway.

When there is an energy stagnation it can also produce dyspnea.
