Location
In a depression in front of the ascending branch of the mandible, below the zygomatic arch. It is palpated with the mouth closed. When the patient opens the mouth, the bone shifts and the depression disappears.

- Treats pain: trigeminal neuralgia.
- Mandibular dislocation, unable to open or close the mouth.
- Gum inflammation.
- Osteoarthritis, warming.
- Ear infection: needle with warm needles.
Treatment
- Needling: 0.3 – 0.4 CUN, perpendicular, with the mouth closed!!
- With Moxibustion: deeper
