Nature
Functions
- Moistens. Treats dryness: dry eyes, dry mouth without saliva, conjunctivitis, otitis, sore throat, chronic pharyngitis, bleeding gums.
- Disperses Fire: eliminates throat pain and inflammation, acute otitis, fever. Due to Wind-Cold attack: if the Fire does not exit, it transforms and becomes inflamed.
- Pain along the Channel pathway: elbow pain, shoulder pain, hot and swollen dorsum of the hand. Inflammation.
- Local point: pain of the finger, little finger and ring finger
