It is of excess type, from blockage.

• Chronic, strong cough, associated with nervousness and stress.
• No phlegm.
• Liver-Fire symptoms: red face, headache, red eyes, bitter and dry mouth. Chest and hypochondrium discomfort.
• Red tongue, thin yellow coating
• Tense and rapid pulse.

Treatment

• Cough of internal origin: BL-13, LU-9, LU-1, SP-6
• Drain Liver-Fire: LR-3, LR-2, LU-10, LU-8, BL-18, CV-22, KI-6.
