Stomach Luo
- Transverse Luo: from ST-40 to SP-3
- Longitudinal Luo: originates from ST-40 and follows roughly the pathway of the Stomach channel up to ST-12. At the level of the neck it sends a branch that reaches the throat. Another branch goes to the occiput and the vertex of the head GV-20.
Symptoms
- Excess: produces epilepsy and madness. It can be caused by Phlegm, Phlegm obstructing the clear orifice.
- Deficiency: emaciated and atrophied legs, inability to flex the knee. [Wei Syndrome]: paralysis and weakness in the legs
- Qi Ni: (counterflow) if the channel is disturbed it can produce tonsillitis and aphonia.
