- Pain along the meridian pathway: shoulder pain, elbow pain, hand pain with difficulty moving the five fingers, trapezius.
- Helps control Liver-Yang, from excess or from Liver-Yin deficiency: temporal headache, eye pain, tinnitus from Fire, conjunctivitis, congested eyes
- Shao Yang pattern: alternating Cold-Heat
- Local point for hand rigidity, difficulty bending and opening the fingers.
