Urinary tract infection, cystitis, prostatitis, Lin Syndrome, dribbling, bladder tenesmus

Symptoms

  • Frequent urgent and difficult urination with scanty amount and dribbling
  • Pain and burning in urethra
  • Dark urine or haematuria or with gravel
  • Pain and tension in the lower abdomen
  • Fever
  • Xin Fan (restlessness, irritability)
  • Red tongue with yellow coating
  • Rapid pulse.

  1. Damp-Heat
  2. Damp-Cold transforming into Heat
  3. Emotional
  4. Improper diet

Treatment

Eliminate Dampness, lower Heat and promote urination:

  • CV-3 ( Mu of BL)
  • CV-4
  • CV-2 (crossing of LR)
  • ST-28
  • SP-9 (Dampness)
  • SP-6 (entire genital area, the three Yin pass through)
  • KI-1 (unblocks)
  • BL-67 (opens orifice, Jing-Well point; not pregnant, moxabustion only to turn the baby)
  • BL-22
  • BL-28
  • BL-39 (Lower He-Sea of TE)
  • BL-40 (Lower He-Sea of BL)
  • LR-2 or LR-3 (if there is much Heat)
  • LU-7 to facilitate urination( upper pathway helps lower water pathway and CV key)
