Spleen-Yang deficiency is a syndrome similar to Spleen-Qi deficiency with symptoms of Cold and increased Dampness. There is insufficient Yang to transform and transport nutrients.
Symptoms
- Poor appetite
- Abdominal Distension, especially after eating
- Tiredness, lassitude, depressed mood
- Pale face
- Weakness of the limbs
- Clear and fluid Leukorrhea
- Tendency to obesity
- Scanty urine or frequent urination
- Loose stools or diarrhea, sometimes with undigested food
- Aversion to cold, interior Cold, cold limbs
- Oedema
- Pale, wet and swollen tongue
- Soft or weak and slightly slippery pulse

- Inappropriate diet: excess of cold and raw foods
