Capa Jue Yin

The Jue Yin Layer is the closing layer of the Yin gate. It is formed by the Pericardium Channel and Liver Channel.

Jue Yin is the closing movement. Maximum Yin. Like winter, it is cold on the outside and all energy is stored inside. When spring comes, the Yang Qi can no longer enter and must begin to exit, or it would burn us. Yang will have to externalize so that life can grow. Jue Yin must facilitate the ascent of Tai Yang.

If there is a problem that prevents Yang from exiting, we will have heat inside. Jue Yin can be blocked by cold and by emotions.

The level of Jue Yin when it transforms gives symptoms a mixture of heat and cold, fullness and emptiness.

  • E.g.: girls with heat inside but very cold outside: ice wrapping fire.
  • E.g.: heat above and cold below: hot head and very cold hands and feet.
