Normally there is:
- Qi and Xue Deficiency simultaneously
- Xue Deficiency with Spleen-Yin deficiency
Symptoms
- Poor appetite
- Slight post-prandial abdominal distension
- Tiredness, lassitude
- Pale and dull face
- Weakness of the four limbs
- Depression
- Thinness
- Loose stools
- Scanty menstruation or amenorrhoea
- Insomnia
- Joint pain
- Pale and parchment-like tongue (thin and narrow)
- Choppy or fine pulse
Causes
Spleen-Qi deficiency: fails to transport and transform nutrients properly, fails to nourish the Blood.
