The genital area is the anterior Yin part. The anus remains part Yin but is in the posterior part. It has a relationship with Kidney (controls sphincters), Bladder (channel outlines the anus) and with Large Intestine (its posterior opening), Governing Vessel.
Prolapse ani

Bloody stools
- If the blood is black, the hemorrhage is in the upper pathways of the digestive system (Stomach, esophagus).
- Red blood: hemorrhage in the intestine. Heat in Large Intestine. Usually due to heat in blood due to inadequate diet.
Ling Shu: Yang blood vessels affected, blood exits externally. Yin blood vessels (luo) affected, blood exits internally.
- If when going to the bathroom blood comes out first and then stools: the blood is more externalized, close to the rectum. Possibly haemorrhoids
